T-MapViewer is a modular system for utilization of geographic informations. It supports work with standard ESRI and CAD data formats. T-MapViewer brings GIS technology near users ( easy visualization of the geographic data), who do not need more complex products for their work, but need easy and quick orientation in the GIS data.

Basic functions:

• geographic data displaying
• basic tools for movement on a map
• saving and opening of a project
• scale restrictions of single themes and groups of themes
• tree layout offers a creation of themes groups
• legend:
  • simple symbol, unique value, graduated color, dot, chart
  • label generated from the internal database
  • plug-ins of an element size in map units (metres)
• information about selected objects
• a possibility of direct insertion of a map imprint into a clipboard
• direct print on the joined output equipment
• easy and intuitive control
• support of image catalogues
• support of catalogues of vector data (an analogy of map libraries)

News:

• new data formats: the vector ones - Microstation (DGN), AutoCAD (DXF, DWG); the raster ones - JPEG, GIF, TIFF version 6, MrSID, .... For the formats GIF and TIFF it is possible to buy up a licence for support of the LZW compression)
• joining of external databases: it provides joining of external database to the single theme. After joining it supports ODBC technology and a direct connection to the data in the formats dBase, MS Access and MS Excel
• a map window rotation: All displayed layers will be turned in the set angle
• one instance: all projects be opened in the one window of the T-MapViewer - it means that no new application instance is initialized for each project

Upgrading of the user interface:

• in all dialogs for the choice of colour there the application remembers defined colours by a user and holds them even for next application set-up
• a simplified access to the frequently used functions
• enhancement and acceleration of work with the transparent and monochrome images
• a possibility save a selection into the shapefile
• extension of possibilities of the printing outputs
