GISel

GISel is a modular conception, high-performance "viewer" of geographic data (basic functions can be expanded by plug-in modules). GISel was built on the MapObjects base and features better-than-standard graphic and tabular data editing tools that are usually not seen in its class of products.

Two modifications the application are offered: GISel and GISelPro. GISel is intended for common users that need to view data, do the attribute search, carry out spatial queries, create outputs etc. In addition to these, GiSelPro also features more advanced GIS tools for data editing, work with attribute table, work with metadata etc. The basic GISel version can be expanded with plugins too. Additional passport modules are available for work with specific data sets (communications passport, greenery maintenance, memorial passport, etc.).

Support for many types of vector (shapefile, coverage, dgn, dwg, dxf) and raster (JPEG, GIF, MrSID) data Seamless work with large maps Transparent raster support Legend that can be viewed as tree Simple and intuitive controls Conventional query tools Spatial query Export of map window Measuring distances and areas User interface set up option Option to add more plug-in modules High speed while maintaining low HW requirements Creation of “named zooms” (current zoom and its graphics settings can be “saved as”). User graphics enables the user to insert graphic symbols (without having to edit the theme) and create text descriptions for them. Utilization of WMS services
