GISel / GISelPRO is a powerful desktop geographical data viewer based on Esri MapObjects platform. In addition to standard map tools and functions the application incorporates advanced functionality for data editing, work with attribute tables, interconnection with web map services etc. Modular structure of the application (GISel – GISelPRO + modules) allows the user to choose the right product according to his/hers needs and requirements.

GISel is intended for common users that need to view data, perform the attribute search, carry out spatial queries, generate outputs and so on. GISel features:

Plug-in modules

• Communication interface and System hotling are two modules that enables GISel application to intercommunicate with external applications – either to display a feature selected in a database application (e.g. T-WIST) directly in GISel map project (communication interface) or to get additional information (stored in an external database) on a feature selected in GISel map project.
• Universal Hotlink allows a set of pictures and other documents to be assigned to objects in a map project.
• Cartogram is a module for advanced cartogram creation (a cartogram is a small diagram on the face of a map showing quantitative information).
