Geocoding - to view any database in a map, it is necessary to assign coordinates to all objects to be displayed. In the event that your database does not contain the coordinates, we offer a service that will assign them. The assignment will be based on the comparison of addresses in your database with reference databases currently available. The resulting accuracy and price will be determined, above all, by the size of your database, the structure and formal correctness of the addresses entered, and by the utilization of special reference databases (towns, streets, address points,…). In addition to the coordinates assignment (important for the linkage with map), another optional result of geocoding can also be utilized – the code assignment in accordance with UIR-ADR - the Territory Identification Address Register (the MoLSA register that is used in different statistical databases - these databases can simply be linked than). In the event that your database already contains the UIR-ADR codes, the resulting accuracy of the connection is higher (most of the time it corresponds with the accuracy of the input) and the final cost of geocoding is at minimum or down to zero (if other paid services are ordered simultaneously).
Conversion of coordinates - our map services run over map layouts in S-42 coordinate system. If your database contains coordinates in a different system of coordinates, these various systems must be unified – in most cases, we recommend the conversion of coordinates that are displayed by the database (the conversion can be done at our place of business at nominal cost), or the map service can be built over a different coordinate system (it there are any objective reasons).
