T-MAPY won the bid to deliver geographic information system for the statutory city of Brno. The contract, whose subject was the delivery of the above-mentioned solution, was signed on the last day of October.

The primary requirement calls for the development of a reliable and high performance information system to gather, manage, and publish geodata. A system that can be integrated into the city of Brno information system, linked to the regional information system and to other public administration information systems. The system will be run by the statutory city of Brno. The users will be the departments of the Brno Municipal Office, including their peers – the subdivisions, selected city of Brno facilities, workplaces, and city district offices. External subjects and the public will constitute a separate group of users.

The geographic information system solution that is offered by our company will be based on widely accepted standards and technologies guaranteed by the ESRI Company (ArcGIS, ArcIMS, ArcSDE, ArcGIS Server). The Team Web Information System by T-MAPY, T-WIST system, will be utilized to provide the software base for the whole solution.
